Row Of Posies Tutorial – Bonnie Mountain - $30

Using a base modified from my Pearls and Lace bracelet, I've added flowers from a pattern I bought online a few years ago. A cheery, colorful number. Ok for beginners.


Sequin ‘Splosion – Bonnie Mountain – $30

A flippy little number that features vintage sequins or Swarovski sequins, (which Bodacious Beads just happens to carry in 20 explosive colors), dancing over a simple herringbone base. Old treasures highlighted in a new way. Fun to make, even more fun to wear. New and experienced beaders welcome.

Sheet Metal Earrings Project – Barbara Kennedy – $25
Sunday September 21st 1:30PM-3:30PM

This class will introduce you to such processes as dapping, shaping, and texturing with sheet metal. Learn the basics in sheet metal and create one-of-a-kind earrings at the same time. Design ideas will be provided. A materials fee of $10 is payable to the teacher on the day of class.

Simple and elegant this necklace certainly is. Ribbon, beads, and pearls make this simple little number look elegant for holiday wearing. This class is a great way to get acquainted with bead stringing and is appropriate for all age levels as well.

Stella’s Bracelet – Bonnie Mountain - $25

Back by popular demand, this loopy number was one of “Stella’s” favorites. Use an assortment of seed beads, daggers, and accent beads in random clusters. Pick a color theme & run with it. A very easy pattern for beginners.

 

Sunburst Tutorial – Bonnie Mountain – $30

As seen in Laura McCabe's new book, Creating Crystal Jewelry with Swarovski, this piece is crystals, crystals, crystals! If you have the book and are having some difficulty following the instructions, or if you just want to learn, Bonnie will guide you through the process. Some peyote experience recommended.

 

Sweat Soldering Intro – Barbara Kennedy – $25
Saturday September 27th 3:00PM-5:00PM

Use advanced skills to solder sheet metal together to create two dimensional designs in pendants or earring components. A materials fee of $10 is payable to the teacher on the day of class. Prerequisite: Fine Metal Hard Soldering Intro.

This tassel, Michelle's original design, could be used as a holiday ornament, a nice addition to your home decor, or a gift for a special person. Its versatility will make you want to keep it around all year long.

 

Three Stacked Rings – Barbara Kennedy – $45

Create three bezels and attach them each to a thin band to be worn together. Coordinate your favorite semiprecious stones to create your own combination of color. A materials fee of $25 is payable to the teacher on the day of class. Prerequisites: Fine Metal Hard Soldering Intro and Fine Metal Bezeled Pendant.

Right-angle weave and bugle beads create a sturdy 3-dimensional bangle. Use metallic colors for best effect. Good for beginners.

Kids day(s) is open to young people ages 8-12. We will create jewelry using a variety of techniques including paper, found objects and who know what else! Please bring a smock or large shirt to protect your clothing while we work. All materials are included.

 

Wire 101 – Diane Ayon - $35

The class starts with an introduction of various tools used in wire work: different types of wire, findings, and basic beads. Learn basic wire techniques and styles of design to create your own bracelet and earrings. All supplies included.

 

Wire 102 – Diane Ayon – $35
Saturday November 1st 10:30AM-1:30PM or
Saturday January 3rd 10:30AM-1:30PM

Students learn to create various wire jewelry components such as decorative headpins to embellish their projects. Learn basic cage techniques to wire wrap stones without holes to create a pendant. All supplies included. Prerequisite: Wire 101.

 

Wunderkammer: Miniature Cabinet of Wonder! – Allyson Cooper – $30
Saturday October 11th 1:00PM-4:00PM

Wunderkammer, also known as Cabinets of Curiosities, were eclectic collections of types of objects gathered by European natural-scientists beginning in the 18th century. Not knowing how or if their specimens were related, they were often displayed together in special cabinets or rooms that would be open for guests to inspect. Your Wunderkammer will be a piece of wearable jewelry made using your very own “undefined” objects. Make it whimsical or personal! A kit fee of $12.00 is payable to the teacher on the day of class. No experience required.
